"water is life" i agree on that quotation..desalination is a good idea but it cost a big amount of money to buy that equipment and materials to be needed...how about the rural areas here in the phillipines??are they can provide that enough money?although some are abundant in water but it is not potable... the government now is working for those areas who have not potable water .The MDGF is now working and looking other information regarding on that problems in water. infact...the data that are gathered is now in proccess so that the government can make a solution...
other local government propose a reservoir for every barangays...deepwell is the most commonly the source of potable water...others are spring...but the most of all, in my idea WE are the solution...thats all..just think about it!good day

Making Laguna Lake as source of water in Metro Manila is a great idea, for it will lessen air pollution in the area, planting more trees to secure water in the lake. More trees is better to the environment. It might not solve the water scarcity totally since population is growing and drought, but it will help minimize air pollution since it will be come a protective area where trees can be planted around it thus help absorbed air pollution that besets the city.

I'm also considering desalination as a good solution. However, I'm also thinking of interconnecting the dams. This way, if one dam is full they can divert the extra resources on other dams that need them. During storms, they can load balance the water storage on all dams, so that it will take longer for dams to overflow.

Desalination plants will have a role to fill up the dams in case there is a island wide shortage of water.

This idea may seem in epic proportions, but I don't see that its impossible.

I came up with a viable idea that could aid not only in providing clean water but power, jobs and reduction in organic and non-organic waste. But it fell on deaf ears. SO i wish you the best of luck in your venture and my you safely traverse the corruption and the I want my cut people.
